Surface Treatment
During the overhaul process, protection of metallic surfaces is important. All parts are surface treated before the assembling operations. As mentioned earlier, the hull and the turret are painted before their assembling starts. Tanks that have been qualified and accepted at the running test will be cleaned and their outer surfaces painted with camouflage paint, as required. Defense Solutions can apply homogeneous green or camouflage paint with infrared ray absorbing qualities.
Defense Solutions is also experienced in the application of Chemical Agent Resistive Coatings (CARC). Defense Solutions has a US supplier that provides technical assistance when applying MIL-DTL-53072 and other military specifications that apply in various projects.
Defense Solutions is capable of performing browning and hard-oxidation.
